The Institute for In Vitro Sciences, Inc. (IIVS) received a grant from the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials, Inc. (RIFM) to develop non-animal test methods for the evaluation of fragrance materials for potential respiratory irritation and sensitization.

2/5/16 - RIFM Moves the Safety Assessment Process to the Next Performance Level applying BPM-D Framework

BPM-D and the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials, Inc. (RIFM) announced today that they have successfully concluded the first phase of their collaboration to increase the performance of RIFM’s Safety Assessment Process. As a result, the potential resource capacity and overall throughput of RIFM’s end-to-end process increased by over 300% through various process improvements and the elimination of resource constraints. These improvements allow RIFM to increase their process efficiencies, lower costs, and streamline inter-enterprise processes with their member companies.
