The RIFM Database is the most comprehensive, worldwide source of toxicology data, literature and general information on fragrance and flavor raw materials, classifying more than 5100 materials. RIFM reviews upwards of 50 journals a month, conducts literature searches, and regularly collects member company data to keep the RIFM Database as complete as possible. It currently has over 54,000 references and houses more than 112,000 human health and environmental studies. Basic material information includes CAS numbers, synonyms, structures, molecular formulas and weights, physical properties and material relationships such as isomers and metabolites. Regulatory and compliance information such as IFRA Standards, EINECS, TSCA and DSL registrations, C/M/R and transport classifications under the Dangerous Substances Directive (67/548/EEC), OSHA standards, Council of Europe listings, IARC status, FDA GRAS status and California/EPA listings are also included for each material.
